 Picasso
We are pleased to be using the revolutionary Picasso laser, one of the truly important recent advances in modern dentistry.
The laser, manufactured by AMD Lasers, produces no heat or vibration, which is great news for people who are uncomfortable with the thought of dental visits, and it allows for more precise cutting, thereby reducing bleeding and improving healing time.
The Picasso laser is an incredible benefit to all patients. This new technology dramatically improves dental care while eliminating discomfort.
The extreme precision of the dental laser allows for treatment of select areas in the mouth without affecting surrounding tissue. As a result, patients retain more of their healthy tooth structure, ensuring optimal oral health.
And along with being extremely quiet, the laser can be used to perform many treatments without the need for anesthetic.
The Picasso laser offers a range of endodontic, periodontic and dental surgery procedures. It allows for clean cutting and hemostasis in a range of soft-tissue procedures, and cuts gum tissue with precision thereby eliminating bleeding and improving healing. The laser also is used to help sterilize canals in endodontics, treat periodontal disease and aid in tooth whitening.
